The Minion Is A Lighting Controller
About The Lighting Control Feature
Similar to triggering or activating a servo device/motor, The Minion allows you to trigger LED lighting the same way. This means you can trigger lighting effects using the remote by assigning the “event” to a button on the Key Fob.
Now you can add another level of effects by using creative lighting. The cost of LED lighting gets more affordable by the day and the technology is always improving. LED lighting is amazing because they require a small voltage (which conserves battery life) and can be very bright. Not to mention built in chasing style effects, color options and other cool effects built into some LED lighting solutions.
The LED lighting options are utilized through the same RJ-11 socket and connector which is the master output for these types of effects and event activation.
